Welcome To My Blog
Thank you for visiting my blog! The posts are short, sweet and to the point. Typically current photos I have taken that follow my professional and personal life. No long written paragraphs here for all of you short attention span readers. And I'm not that good of a writer anyways :-) I hope you gain a good idea of who I am thru my photography, my travels, and my humor posted here. Come back soon!
(BPP) -- Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Sunday named Brian Phillips, a Boston Wedding Photographer, as her running mate in the 2008 election -- an announcement that comes as Clinton's superdelegate lead over Sen. Barack Obama was narrowed to within one on Saturday, according to CNN's latest delegate estimate.
Phillips, a New York native, was Hillary's first choice as his strengths behind the lens caught her eye during a photoshoot at the Harvard Club of Boston last year. Hillary actually met Brian back in 1996 in Chautauqua, NY, while her husband and former President Bill Clinton practiced for his upcoming debates against Bob Dole. Brian was working for Reuters News Pictures at the time, covering the three day stay in Upstate NY.

A couple of fun images from the Reem Acra show in New York City last Sunday.

Was treated to a fantastic dinner by Yanni from Wedding Style along with Mike and Ray.

Party at Luke Walkers Studio in Lower Manhattan. That's Luke in front,
Ray on the left, and my good friends Jared and Kristin on the right.
Photo credits above go to Ray Santanna Blog (well really the waiter :-)), and the Luke Walker Blog.
I've been in NYC since Friday shooting fashion for Grace Ormonde. Will share more pictures when I return home on Wednesday, but snagged a nice portrait of Carolina Herrara after her show at The Plaza Hotel and Ines Di Santos after hers at the famous Warwick Hotel. Will be at photographer Luke Walkers studio in lower Manhattan tonight for a party (pizza & poker :-), which will be a nice way to top off the past several days including fun nights out with the whole Wedding Style crew including Grace, Yanni, Mike, Ray, Anna, Tracy, and Paula! Ray, send me those pictures!!!

I am sooooo excited to learn that the "Knotties" are chatting about me :-). I was voted Best of 2008 for New England photographers! And it wasn't until this morning that I got wind of this from fellow photographer Brittnay Blando as she congratulated me. Many thanks to all the brides out there for their recognition as this honor is based on client feedback and satisfaction thru a survey done by The Knot. A Million Thanks!

The magazine is out on the stands now should you want to grab a copy!
I am out in Las Vegas this week for one of the largest photographic conferences anywhere, held by the WPPI. This is my fourth trip to Vegas and I just love the upbeat and vibrant atmosphere. Everybody here is so energized that you just can't help but have a great time. Well, unless you bet the house, and, um.. lose.
Sunday night we went to the worlds only Playboy Club atop The Palms Casino. And while we did not run into Hef, we did catch his girlfriend Bridget who was dancing up a storm while here two Ginormous bodyguards stood just off to the side. Bridget declined my attempt for a picture but my consolation prize was a shot with one of the cocktail bunnies.
