Corey & Geoff, Wedding, The Country Club Brookline

What an honor to shoot Corey and Geoff's wedding at The Country Club in Brookline. Truly and incredible property and also THE oldest country club in the whole United States. It was founded back in 1882 as an equestrian and social club.

While the reception was held both inside and outside of the main club house, the ceremony was back deep in the property at the Lake House. A fitting location as Geoff, who has a passion for fishing, proposed to Corey following a fishing trip.

Andrea & Dennis, Engaged!!!

We met up with Andrea and Dennis in Boston today for a relaxed photo session. After a few imaginary Bloody Mary's :-), their passionate and upbeat personalities came right out and we had a blast shooting with them. I think most people would cringe at the thought of working on a Sunday morning, but days like this for Maria and I are just so rewarding, especially when we get to work with an amazing couple like Andrea and Dennis! Check out their pics!

Meet Hops our favorite new dog!

I love originality and this one definitely takes the cake. 99% of clients that book us as their wedding photographer ususally give us a call or send us an email. Well this email came with a great picture of their dog and we gladly said YES!! Corey and Geoff are getting married at the Country Club in Brookline and hopefully lil Hops can be there to celebrate as well...given the fact that she was the one who gave us the stamp of approval!

Standing Out From the Crowd

Came across this fun shot last weekend. As a photographer, I am constantly shooting
during the wedding day. So when the Bride and Groom decided to peer thru the limo's sunroof, I had no choice but to shoot up at them. I think the expression on the brides face and the gently placed fingers on the edge of the sunroof opening helped make this picture work. What do you think? Leave a comment for me :-).

Look Who Photographed the Kennedys!!

The proof is in the picture, right? LOLl!!

The above image was made just after a passionate kiss by the B&G (see below) following their ceremony at St. Cecilia's in downtown Boston. They hopped onto the trolley and then lined up perfectly with the image of the Kennedys. I do admit however that I prompted the groom to look at his bride to mimic the picture below.

.
And I liked the trolley driver in the above image. His casual glance at such a wonderful moment completes the picture for me. I am always looking to incorporate other elements in my images to help avoid one dimensional pictures.

Geese of the Garden

Just thought I would share this image taken this past weekend at the Boston Public Gardens. Had to carefully navigate thru a ton of geese landmines and step on a few webbed toes, but got the shot, lol.
