Welcome To My Blog
Thank you for visiting my blog! The posts are short, sweet and to the point. Typically current photos I have taken that follow my professional and personal life. No long written paragraphs here for all of you short attention span readers. And I'm not that good of a writer anyways :-) I hope you gain a good idea of who I am thru my photography, my travels, and my humor posted here. Come back soon!
Just placed 5th and 9th in the Wedding Photojournalist Assoc. quarterly contest. Definitely some stiff competition from all around the globe. Be sure to check out the winning photos as many are truly amazing!
5th Place photo taken at The Wequasett Inn on Cape Cod.
And a 9th Place... Was such a 'Right Place at the Right Time' photo.
Came across this fun shot last weekend. As a photographer, I am constantly shooting
during the wedding day. So when the Bride and Groom decided to peer thru the limo's sunroof, I had no choice but to shoot up at them. I think the expression on the brides face and the gently placed fingers on the edge of the sunroof opening helped make this picture work. What do you think? Leave a comment for me :-).

Time flies that is! Wow, since I last blogged in early September, this has probably been my busiest stretch of work, family, and friends, ever, IN LIFE!!! Every minute, day and night, I had something going on. Even when watching baseball, I was sitting on the couch editing an assigment on my laptop. And going forward another month, it doesn't let up much. So for now, here is a sampling of pictures shot over the past 45 days.
Faneuil Hall shoot for a State Room wedding.
Engagement Shoot in Watertown
Isn't he the cutest!
Engagment Session at Nashoba Vallely. Such a cool texture on the side of the barn!
My first bridal shots out on Boston's now completed Greenway. This was in front of the InterContinental Hotel where the wedding was held.
I am down in New York City with Maria shooting the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Maria actually got to shoot a little as I had her shoot some wide angle shots. Today we shot the Carolina Herrera show, Peter Som, and Luca Luca show for Wedding Style Magazine.
Going down Naomi Campbell style
Maria's first Fashion Week Picture at the Peter Som show. Of course a little bit of good editing by yours truly and 'voila'... new superstar photographer!
Carolina Herrera Show
Just got back from a fantastic trip camping in Maine with our friends Ann & Steve. I have gone camping since I was little. Maria, well, not so much. And while she is finally getting the hang of living out of a tent for a few nights, she still found a way to get into town with Ann and go shopping while Steve and I were Kayaking on Rangeley Lake, lol.
Steve and I just before launching our Kayaks.
I spotted a Bald Eagle gliding above. What an amazing site to see in person!!!
Shot this Boston Skyline Sunset last night from the Seaport Hotel Ballroom in the World Trade Center during a wedding reception we had there. No color enhancements were applied to this image. Just a bit of contrast and sharpening.
What a chandelier!! While chandeliers are making a comeback these days in homes and even restaurants, the Ornate Silver Chandeliers in the Harvard Club on Commonwealth Ave. in Boston are just amazing.
This shot was taken this past June at an amazing wedding reception planned by Unique Weddings by Alexis.
Image Info: Handheld 1/20s at f/2. ISO 1250.
Yesterday I had the fun privledge of shooting Bouquet shots at the Liberty Hotel for Wedding Style Magazine. If you haven't been to visit this hotel yet, it is definitely worth a quick peak inside, or better yet a drink at "Clink" or even dinner at "Alibi" restaurant. Sorry I can't show you any of the photos from the shoot, well not until they come out in print :-).
We had a blast in San Diego visiting my baby brother Kevin (aka..Bobo) and his sweetheart Maeghan (aka..Tootie). San Diego is by far my favorite city in the good old U S of A. And now I have my brother living out there as he just moved a few months ago from Boston. So since my business allows me to travel and be on the road for long periods of time, you just may see me in SoCal quite a bit in my downtime :-). Actually, we are working on landing a few weddings out there as well.
Kevin lives in Little Italy (heart of downtown SD). Little Italy is surely no North End of Boston, but the food is great, the people friendly, and you can still get good pizza and canolis. And from Little Italy, you can easily walk to the beach, Balboa Park (the SD zoo is right there), the Gas Lamp District (Bars, Bars, and more Bars) and Petco Park. Petco park looked amazing. You can buy a park pass and sit in the sand in the outfield for like $8.00. So when you get a chance, visit SD and if you can get a room, stay at the Coronado Hotel!
We just shot an absolutely amazing "50's retro chic" styled wedding out in Las Vegas. When photographers Kristin and Jared Spencer asked me to shoot their renewal of vows in Vegas I jumped at the opportunity. Some details of the day included a Vintage Red Cadillac, a Stephanie James Couture Dress, a reception at the Bellagio in front of the fountains, and even Blue Shoes for the groom. The day was super hot (over a 100 degrees) but that didn't stop anyone from having fun. More pictures to follow down the road.
