Grace Ormonde Features in the New England Issue

I am humbled once again to be prominently splashed across the 2009 issue of Wedding Style New England. We had the honor of shooting numerous assignments including Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York, a Fashion Shoot in Rhode Island at Point Pleasant Inn & Resort, a Mens feature at Louis Boston, another feature about Be Our Guest Rentals, Bryan Rafanelli designs (which is also a feature in the National Magazine) as well as some table tops and grooms with bouquets at the new Liberty and Mandarin Hotels.

Wedding Style Magazine National Feature!

If you grab a copy of the current 2009 Grace Ormonde Wedding Style National Magazine, you will find a feature story on Boston's celebrated event planner Bryan Rafanelli of Rafanelli Events. I had the pleasure of photographing Bryan at Boston's newest luxury hotel, Mandarin Oriental, for the magazine. You can also find two more full page images of his work in the current Wedding Style New England Issue that I photographed as well.

Bryan was super low key and fun to work with. Exactly my style :-). We of course look forward to seeing more of his stunning designs in person as the new 2009 season is already upon us.





Here are a few pictures of some more of the plates used during the shoot that did not make the magazine. I had to share since they were so unique and different. I especially loved the center plate. FYI...The china was from Louis Boston /and the silver and glasswear from Be Our Guest Rentals.

I am down in New York City with Maria shooting the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Maria actually got to shoot a little as I had her shoot some wide angle shots. Today we shot the Carolina Herrera show, Peter Som, and Luca Luca show for Wedding Style Magazine.

Grace Ormonde Shoot at the Liberty Hotel

Yesterday I had the fun privledge of shooting Bouquet shots at the Liberty Hotel for Wedding Style Magazine. If you haven't been to visit this hotel yet, it is definitely worth a quick peak inside, or better yet a drink at "Clink" or even dinner at "Alibi" restaurant. Sorry I can't show you any of the photos from the shoot, well not until they come out in print :-).

I've been in NYC since Friday shooting fashion for Grace Ormonde. Will share more pictures when I return home on Wednesday, but snagged a nice portrait of Carolina Herrara after her show at The Plaza Hotel and Ines Di Santos after hers at the famous Warwick Hotel. Will be at photographer Luke Walkers studio in lower Manhattan tonight for a party (pizza & poker :-), which will be a nice way to top off the past several days including fun nights out with the whole Wedding Style crew including Grace, Yanni, Mike, Ray, Anna, Tracy, and Paula! Ray, send me those pictures!!!

Fashion Shoot for Grace Ormonde

Today I had the awesome good fortune of photographing a Wedding Style Magazine fashion shoot in Providence, RI. I collaborated with two other wonderful photographers, Cheryl Richards, and M Benedicte Verley. Both of whom were just fantastic to work side by side with! The day was SO much fun, and I can't wait to see the pictures in print. They will be available for all to see when the Spring/Summer issues of Wedding Style and Wedding Style NE hit the stores this coming January. Many thanks to all of those who have afforded me this amazing opportunity!

So Close...Wedding Style Fall 2007 Issue

This past April I posted about shooting the Fall Bridal runway shows in NYC for Wedding Style Magazine. Well... the National Issue just arrived at my doorstep yesterday and I almost fell over! The cover was chosen from the same Monique Lhuillier show that I was at. For a split second I held my breath, but I knew after a short glance that the photograph was Mike Colon's, as he was shooting from an angle that was higher up. The shot was his and well deserved, as he is a tremendous photographer. Several of my images made the magazine as well as their website, so no complaints. Looking forward to future shows and working with many other amazing photographers!

Bridal Fashion in New York City

I just returned from NYC late Monday night after 3 long days of shooting the Bridal Fashion Shows for Grace Ormonde. Partnered with the talented photographers Mike Colon and Ray Santana, both great guys and enjoyable to hang with ... we covered over twenty shows and private viewings of the top bridal designers including the likes of Reem Acra, Carolina Herrera, Monique Lhuillier, and Priscilla of Boston, etc..

And although we were all exhausted by the end of each day..we did manage to have some tasty dinners at fun restaurants like Tao and Sambuca with the Wedding Style ladies Tracy and Paula. ps.. no pictures :-( Would you believe none of us "photographers" had a camera?!
