Wedding Style Magazine National Feature!

If you grab a copy of the current 2009 Grace Ormonde Wedding Style National Magazine, you will find a feature story on Boston's celebrated event planner Bryan Rafanelli of Rafanelli Events. I had the pleasure of photographing Bryan at Boston's newest luxury hotel, Mandarin Oriental, for the magazine. You can also find two more full page images of his work in the current Wedding Style New England Issue that I photographed as well.

Bryan was super low key and fun to work with. Exactly my style :-). We of course look forward to seeing more of his stunning designs in person as the new 2009 season is already upon us.





Here are a few pictures of some more of the plates used during the shoot that did not make the magazine. I had to share since they were so unique and different. I especially loved the center plate. FYI...The china was from Louis Boston /and the silver and glasswear from Be Our Guest Rentals.

Andrea & John in Southern California!

Had the amazing opportunity to shoot an engagement session with Andrea & John in La Jolla, Ca (San Diego), while I was out in California for the first two weeks of January. Everyday, 70 degrees and Sunny. I always tell my fellow northeast photographers that working out in SoCal is such a dream come true for us. Here are some of the fun shots from our hour shoot. Enjoy!

Harvard Club Wedding featured in Southern NE Weddings!

Yup, that's Me!

Just dug up this old retro square photo with rounded corners. I think I am about 3 or 4 years old? Not totally sure, but that is my Grandma's wig I have on. To funny! Not sure how that thing got onto my head... maybe a crazy aunt or uncle made me pose with it. Check out the old phone in the background. Yikes, remember those?! I think you had to plug those in, lol.

Christmas = Cuteness

This little guy makes me look GOOD! Everything came together so well in this Christmas card photoshoot. The red walls & couch, the dogs and their sweaters, the great tree with presents, and of course, is his outfit not awesome?! Seriously...HOW CUTE!!!









No child's photoshoot would be complete without the final meltdown shot. This was my actual last photo taken of our 30 minute shoot.

We just shot an independent fashion shoot where the concept was to photograph something a bit out of the ordinary and mostly to shoot for fun. We teamed up with a ton of great people including R&B singer Blu Cantrell, a native Rhode Islander :-).
